The Beautiful Badlands ND
While the bountiful oil production of this region has impacted world politics, it has done so with little visual impact on the region, which is why it is still called The Beautiful Badlands ND. Ranchers still produce cattle, mountain bikers still ride the Maah Daah Hey trail, hikers still marvel at the rugged terrain of the badlands, and photographers still seek the beauty of the region.
What We Do
We’re two photographers in love with western North Dakota where we see so much beauty. Mary (Mary’s Photos) and Mike (Mykuhls Photography) capture and share images of their exploits hiking, camping, exploring and enjoying the Beautiful Badlands ND oil region of North Dakota. On occasion, we invite others who see the beauty of the Beautiful Badlands ND to share their images with us. Our images as canvas wraps and framed prints have displayed the Beautiful Badlands ND in Dickinson, Bismarck, Williston, Minot and Mayville where many of them have sold (Hooray!).
